Review IDEXX Lab Histories Inside the Case
Reviewing months of lab work often means leaving the case, opening another system, and scrolling through results while the patient and owner wait.
You can now bring a patient's IDEXX lab results into any CoVet case as a structured, editable summary. An owner or admin just needs to connect CoVet to IDEXX through VetConnect Plus.
Click the IDEXX Lab button to see:
- An "At-A-Glance" summary of key findings
- Findings grouped by organ system
- Severe, Moderate, or Normal flags
- Trends over time
CoVet remembers the patient linked to the case, so you can return to the latest results without mapping them again. Add the summary to the case or include it in a PDF.

Take Your Recording With You
Our new floating recorder lets you keep the recording floating on screen while you move between tabs and windows.
Because the player moves independently from the rest of your desktop content, you can:
- Start, pause, or resume the recording
- Check the elapsed time
- Keep the recording active while working in another tab
Open it using the pop-out icon on the left side of the recorder. You can launch it manually or turn on the setting that opens it automatically whenever you switch tabs.

A Few More Updates
Clearer records
- Create clinical and client-friendly dental charts together. Generate a complete clinical chart for the record and a plain-language version for the pet owner.
- Verify medical history summaries. Citations connect each statement to its source, making generated content easier to review.
- Download timestamped transcripts. Export a formatted PDF with timestamps on every line. Copying and pasting preserves them too.
More control over recordings
- Keep only the essentials in view. Keep the recorder, your go-to templates, and the record together in one focused view.
- Document consent for recorded calls. Clients must press 1 to consent before the call connects. If they do not, the call ends and nothing is recorded.
- Limit access to sensitive audio. Playback can be restricted to the person who created the recording.
- Protect recordings from interruptions. Audio is now saved in chunks, helping preserve your notes even if your connection drops, your battery dies, or the power goes out.
Fewer repeated steps
- Edit client emails before sending. Customize the message, choose email text or a PDF attachment, and keep your preferred format for next time.
- Export multiple records together. Select several cases from All Cases and download their PDFs in one batch.

Doing our part for the spaces we share
Veterinary care reaches beyond the animals in front of us. It is connected to the communities, habitats, and natural places around them.
As CoVet grows, we have a responsibility to consider our environmental footprint and support work that reflects the values of veterinary professionals.
That's why we were thrilled to announce our first environmental partnership with Rewilding Britain.
A portion of every new UK individual subscription will support its Rewilding Innovation Fund and Rewilding Challenge Fund. These funds back locally led work across habitat restoration, species recovery, marine environments, and community rewilding.
This partnership is one step in that broader commitment, and we look forward to sharing more news about our upcoming initiatives and the work we're helping to support across the UK.

Dictate directly into any record section
Need to add a finding or clarify a detail after the recording has ended?
Place your cursor in any record section, select the Mic button, and start dictating. CoVet adds the transcription exactly where you need it.
It is a quick way to add a late finding, correct a detail, or expand a section without retyping it.
